【摘要】:Theresultsareusedtocharacterizethescaleformedandusedtoevaluatethequalityofwaterusedintheunit.Characterizingthescalewillassistinthedesignofthewatertreatmentprocesstoavoidfurtherscalebuildup.Theuseofmodernup-to-datechemicaldetectionunitswillincreasetheusefulnessofthepractice.1.1Thispracticecoversthemannerinwhichtheresultsofexaminationandanalysisforinorganicconstituentsofdepositsformedfromwatersaretobereported.1.2Whilevariouspracticesofreportingtheanalysisofwater-formeddepositsareinuse,thispracticeisintendedasarationalandcomprehensivepracticeforgeneralapplication.Foruseinspecificindustriesorindividualcases,molecularcombinationsmaybeusefulanddesirable.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
