【摘要】:CapturinghighqualityReliability,Availability,andMaintainability(RAM)performancedatarequirescarefulandconsistentcollectionofequipmentfailureandrepairdata,operatinghours,andrepairtime.Astandardhierarchyofequipmentboundarieshasbeenneededformachinerydataexchangeamongthestakeholdersinshipbuilding,shipclassification,andshipoperations.IndustryandgovernmentwilluseaworldstandardmethodforsettingthehierarchyofindenturesandboundariesrequiredforassigningfailureandrepaireventstoequipmentforthetrackingandcalculationofequipmentRAMperformance.Agreedboundariesandequipmentidentifiersmakeitpossibletoshareequipmentdataamongorganizations,benchmarkequipmentperformance,performmodelingandsimulationofcurrentandproposedsystems,oruseperformancedatatoimproveoperationsofcommercialandNavalvessels.RAManalysisisprimarilybasedontheobservationofindividualcomponentsamongwhichidenticalitemscontributetothesamedatasample.Thisclassificationisdesignedtobeusedfortheidentificationofindividual(unique)componentsinsuchawaythatidenticalcomponentscanbeidentifiedwithinagivendatasample.1.1Thisclassificationistoserveasaninternationalstandardformarineequipmentnomenclature,taxonomy,hierarchicaldatastructure,uniqueidentifiers,andboundarydefinitionfortheconsistentacquisitionandexchangeofequipmentRAMperformancedata.Thestandardaddressestheclassificationofmechanicalandsoftwareproducts.1.2RAMinanacronymforReliability,Availability,x0026;Maintainabilitywhere:1.2.1Reliabilityistheprobabilitythatanitemcanperformarequiredfunctionundergivenconditionsforagiventimeinterval(t1,t2).Itisgenerallyassumedthattheitemisinastatetoperformthisrequiredfunctionatthebeginningofthetimeinterval.1.2.2Availabilityistheprobabilitythatanitemisinastatetoperformarequiredfunctionundergivenconditionsatagiveninstantoftime,assumingthattherequiredexternalresourcesareprovided.1.2.3Maintainabilityistheprobabilitythatagivenactivemaintenanceaction,foranitemundergivenconditionsofusecanbecarriedoutwithinastatedtimeinterval,whenthemaintenanceisperformedunderstatedconditionsandusingstatedproceduresandresources.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
