【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversathermoplasticinsulationofpoly(vinylchloride)orthecopolymerofvinylchlorideandvinylacetate.Thisinsulationisrecommendedforuseatconductortemperaturesnotinexcessof90C.1.2Dependingonthethicknessoftheinsulation,themaximumvoltageused,andwhetherthelocationiswetordry,thisinsulationisacceptableforusein300V(dry)and600V(wetordry)powerandcontrolcircuits.1.3Thisinsulationhaspotentiallow-temperatureinstallationlimitations.Consultthemanufacturerforspecificrecommendationsforinstallation.1.4Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarethestandard,whilethoseinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Inmanyinstancestheinsulationmaterialcannotbetestedunlessithasbeenformedaroundaconductororcable.Therefore,testsaredoneoninsulatedwireorcableinthisspecificationsolelytodeterminetherelevantpropertyoftheinsulationmaterialandnottotesttheconductororcompletedcable.
